These terms
These terms govern the use of Ronde in the cloud (app.joinronde.com) and of its paid plans. Ronde is published by the publisher named in the legal notice. Self-hosting the Community edition is governed only by its license, the AGPL-3.0.
Who can subscribe
Anyone can use the Community plan. The paid plans are offered to professionals and organizations (companies, associations, schools, public bodies) who subscribe for their activity.
Your account
Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. The owners of a workspace decide who joins it and are responsible for how its members use it.
Plans and prices
The plans, what they include and their prices are those of the pricing page on the day you subscribe. Prices are before tax; VAT is added where it applies. A paid plan counts only the people who took part in a meeting of the workspace in the last 30 days.
Billing
Payment is made by card through Stripe, in advance, every month or every year. On a monthly plan, the number of seats follows the people counted, prorated on the next invoice. On a yearly plan, a seat added is invoiced at once for the rest of the year, and a seat removed counts from the renewal. Invoices are in Settings, then Billing.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days and we let you know. Without payment, the workspace goes back to the Community plan; nothing is deleted.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Settings, then Billing. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, then the workspace goes back to Community with all its content. The period started is not refunded, unless the law requires it or the service was unavailable through our fault.
Education
Schools, universities and teachers can get the paid plans free of charge, on request. We may ask for proof of the institution.
Availability
We do our best to keep Ronde available and secure, and we announce planned maintenance in advance when we can. No level of availability is guaranteed, unless an Enterprise contract provides one.
Your content
What you put in Ronde stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes. You can export it at any time, and it is deleted with the workspace. A data processing agreement (GDPR article 28) is available on request.
Acceptable use
Do not use Ronde for anything illegal, to harm others, to send unsolicited messages, or to attack or overload the service. We may suspend an account or a workspace that does, after warning you when the situation allows it.
Liability
Ronde is provided with care, but without any guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited to direct damage and to the amounts paid for the service over the last twelve months, except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Changes
These terms may change. A significant change is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before that date.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, write to hello@joinronde.com so that we look for an amicable solution together. Failing that, the courts of the publisher's registered office have jurisdiction.
