Ronde

Student projects

Every other week, the tutor follows each group's progress, deliverables, difficulties and questions, and nothing waits until the final presentation.

  • Every other week, 60 min
  • 5 min to speak, each

Free. Your first meeting starts from this template, and everything stays editable.

Who it’s for

Teachers and tutors following project groups, capstone projects, internships or theses.

Why this format

  • No surprise at the deadlineDeliverables are a checklist: the tutor sees early which group is behind.
  • Every group gets its timeA timed turn per group keeps the session fair, even with a dozen teams.
  • Questions come preparedStudents write their questions beforehand, so the tutor's time goes where it helps most.

What everyone prepares

Before the meeting, each person fills in their check-in in a few minutes, from a computer or a phone. Here is one, as it looks in Ronde.

How a session runs

  1. IntroEveryone joins, in the room or on the call: the screen shows who is here and what is on the agenda.
  2. Round table5 min eachEach person in turn shares their check-in, with a timer; the others raise a hand, react or say thanks.
  3. Open topicsThe subjects raised along the way, with the decisions taken and the follow-up actions.
  4. Wrap-upThe minutes are ready: decisions, actions and their owners, everyone’s check-in.

Ready with this template

Each meeting turns modules on or off as it likes; these come switched on.

  • Meeting usefulnessAt the wrap-up, everyone rates how useful the meeting was, from 1 to 5, anonymously; the average is tracked in the stats.
  • Reactions and signalsEmoji reactions and signals (too long, louder…) flying across every screen.
  • Raised hands and questionsRaise a hand or ask a question during a turn: a questions step follows that turn.
  • KudosThank a teammate during the meeting; kudos show on every screen and in the minutes.
  • TimeboxA topic of its own on the agenda, with its own duration and its notes in the minutes.
  • Decision logEvery “Decision:” line of the notes, from every session, in one searchable list open to the whole team.

Tips to run it well

  • Ask each group to name a spokesperson per session: they fill in the check-in for the group.
  • Share the minutes with the groups after each session: they serve as the project's logbook.
