Hiring review

Every week, the hiring team goes over the interviews held, the candidates in progress, the decisions to take and the roles to open.

  • Every week, 45 min
  • 3 min to speak, each

Free. Your first meeting starts from this template, and everything stays editable.

Who it’s for

HR teams, recruiters and the managers who hire, in companies of every size.

Why this format

  • Faster decisionsDecisions to take are listed each week: candidates don't wait days for an answer.
  • One shared viewRecruiters and managers see the same pipeline, without chasing each other for news.
  • Fair and consistentFeedback on interviews is written the same way for every candidate, which keeps comparisons fair.

What everyone prepares

Before the meeting, each person fills in their check-in in a few minutes, from a computer or a phone. Here is one, as it looks in Ronde.

How a session runs

  1. IntroEveryone joins, in the room or on the call: the screen shows who is here and what is on the agenda.
  2. Round table3 min eachEach person in turn shares their check-in, with a timer; the others raise a hand, react or say thanks.
  3. Open topicsThe subjects raised along the way, with the decisions taken and the follow-up actions.
  4. Wrap-upThe minutes are ready: decisions, actions and their owners, everyone’s check-in.

Ready with this template

Each meeting turns modules on or off as it likes; these come switched on.

  • Meeting usefulnessAt the wrap-up, everyone rates how useful the meeting was, from 1 to 5, anonymously; the average is tracked in the stats.
  • Reactions and signalsEmoji reactions and signals (too long, louder…) flying across every screen.
  • Raised hands and questionsRaise a hand or ask a question during a turn: a questions step follows that turn.
  • TimeboxA topic of its own on the agenda, with its own duration and its notes in the minutes.
  • Decision logEvery “Decision:” line of the notes, from every session, in one searchable list open to the whole team.

Tips to run it well

  • Use initials or a reference in check-ins, never full names: the minutes may travel beyond the hiring team.
  • Agree on a deadline for each decision: a good candidate rarely waits more than a week.
